These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Clipi application and related services (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) Eligibility (17+)
The Service is intended only for users who are 17 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 17.
2) Account registration and security
- Provide accurate and complete information (such as name, username, and email).
- Keep your account information up to date.
- Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3) The Service and AI-generated content
Clipi provides AI-powered image generation based on text prompts and (if you choose) images you upload ("Inputs"). The Service generates images and other outputs ("Outputs") based on your Inputs.
- Outputs may be unexpected, incorrect, or offensive.
- You are responsible for how you use Outputs and for complying with laws and these Terms.
- Do not rely on Outputs for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions).
4) User content (Inputs) and rights
You retain any rights you have in your Inputs. You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights and permissions to submit Inputs.
To operate the Service, you grant Clipi a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, process, and transmit your Inputs solely to provide and improve the Service and to generate Outputs. This license ends when Inputs are deleted consistent with our privacy practices.
5) Prohibited uses
- Illegal, exploitative, or abusive content (including CSAM) is strictly prohibited.
- Do not harass, threaten, defame, or promote violence or hatred.
- Do not infringe intellectual property or privacy rights.
- Do not upload content you do not have permission to use.
- Do not reverse engineer, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the Service.
- Do not use the Service to create or distribute malware, spam, or fraud.
- Do not deceptively present Outputs as human-created where that would mislead.
We may remove content, restrict access, or suspend/terminate accounts for violations.
6) Intellectual property
The Service is owned by Clipi Team and protected by intellectual property laws. Except as expressly permitted, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of any part of the Service.
7) Feedback
If you provide feedback or suggestions, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation.
8) Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our privacy practices. Please review the privacy policy made available by Clipi Team.
9) Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms or if needed to protect users or the Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipi Team disclaims all warranties, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipi Team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill.
Clipi Team’s total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or $50 USD if you paid nothing).
10) Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service and may update these Terms. We will update the effective date when we do. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
11) Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Clipi Team’s principal place of business, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
12) Dispute resolution and binding arbitration
Except where prohibited by applicable law, you and Clipi Team agree to resolve disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service through final and binding arbitration rather than in court.
Nothing prevents either party from seeking injunctive or equitable relief to protect intellectual property rights or prevent unauthorized access.
